Probably the best pressings ever issued of the Toscanini Beethoven cycle - the contractual agreement between RCA and Decca really paid off for the serious collector here! The studio 8-H sound needed all the help it could get - here there is nothing between you and the music - and the surfaces are amazingly silent...
