Here's a very nice 1972 UK Demo re-issue copy of this classic tune from THE VELVELETTES with "NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK" on the UK TAMLA MOTOWN imprint # TMG 806 and backed with "I'M THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE".

The 'A' side of this copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in a very strong excellent plus condition verging more towards mint minus with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with light surface sleeve rubs whereas, the 'B' side has a light surface scratch causing an audible rotational click for approximately the first minute. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides without any written annotations and with light spindle wear. Paired with an original company sleeve and still a decent copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans). Note the low starting price which is reflective of the 'B' side fault.
