Description
Velvet Mist - First Time Round (CRS COUN 243 1973 UK)
Very rare custom pressed four track UK folk seven inch. Tracks are 'In The Morning' (originally by the Bee Gees), Tim Hardin's 'If I Were A Carpenter', Ralph McTell's 'Bright And Beautiful Things' and Fairport Convention's 'Meet On The Ledge'. Catalogue number dates it to 1973. Male and female vocals, acoustic guitar, that's it; beautiful stripped down folk, quality covers (particularly the Fairport Convention for me), genuinely quality stuff throughout. And incredibly hard to find.
Check audio player below for clips of all four tracks.

Record is VG
Record has some background noise (probably due to the cheap custom pressing) and a few ticks, the worst of which can be heard on the audio clip. Visually some light scuffs, a few little light marks when viewed under a bright desk light. Original price sticker on label. Plain sleeve.
UK bidders can pay with PayPal, cheque or Postal Order. Outside UK PayPal only.
Records are professionally cleaned using an Okki Nokki record cleaner and well packaged for mailing in stiff cruciform mailers with extra cardboard stiffeners where needed.
