Description

Here we have a superb copy of a supremely rare album. Velvet Underground's third album in a near mint condition triple flipback sleeve with the split picture of Lou Reed on the back. Director of Engineering is Val Valentin and the record number is MGM CS 8108 with the dead wax matrices 2YMG 291-1G and 2YMG 292 1-G. The record has had a bit of play judging by marks around the centre holes but it's not beaten up. There is a very small amount of crackle here and there but after a decent clean I'm positive this will improve in leaps and bounds; this is no shoddy old thing that's been bashed around on a Dansette in a student flat. I believe this to be a top quality first edition copy and knowing the person I bought it from years ago I have no reason to doubt it. Come and have a look at this one! STOP PRESS!! It seems a few people are concerned this record might only be a VG from my description.
