Description

  • Disc VG+ (center label has wear but vinyl is VG+ visually) Sleeve VG. There is some surface noise throughout the album. It's a lofi but very interesting and cool record. Has a printed inner sleeve which may or may not be original but I've included it as this is how I found it. Will also come with a brand new rice paper inner, and brand new outer.

  • All in all a legendary and elusive 1985 UK unofficial press documenting the earliest avant-garde roots of the Velvet Underground  under their original moniker, The Falling Spikes. Haunting collection of soundtrack excerpts from Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory era, including music from Hedy and The Chelsea Girls, interspersed with interviews and a staggering 1970 live recording of "Oh! Sweet Nuthin'." Essential for VU completists and fans of Lou Reed, John Cale, and 1960s New York underground cinema. Features distinct white labels and iconic Warhol-inspired sleeve art.
