Description
Most of my records have been sitting on a shelf for 25+ years, in plastic protective sleeves, in a smoke-free home, played very little ( mostly to record them- it was the 80's). Friends could look & listen but not touch! I am selling off rock/punk/industrial/psych LP's this go round. Thank you for looking and please peek at my other listings.

COVER Condition: VERY GOOD +, KEPT SLEEVED IN POLY BAG, CORNER HOLE CUT, SLIGHT EDGE DISCOLORATION/WEAR

Other: ORIGINAL PRESSING, Recorded with a mono cassette recorder in October 1968 at a Cleveland club, shortly after Doug Yule replaced John Cale, the band really cooks here, especially on "I Can't Stand It," with riveting distorted guitar riff exchanges. "What Goes On" and the obscure Reed compositions "Move Right In" and "Foggy Notion" (a ten-minute version of the latter) also hold interest. But the vocals are faint and the sonics extremely tinny; for that reason, it's nothing you could place in remotely the same league as the official 1969: Velvet Underground Live. Also included is an April 1968 version of "Heroin," with Cale still in the band.
