Description
Here's an original US FIRST PRESSING of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND LP LOADED. It's just one of the greatest LP's in rock history. An essential LP in any music library. It was the Velvet's 4th studio LP, and would be the last with Lou Reed, making Loaded the most mature of their records. The name LOADED came about because the band wanted to make an LP that was "loaded" with hits, and one could say they achieved that in a Velvet way. And for Warhol, their spiritual mentor, an LP of hits would give them 15 minutes of fame for.each hit... After Lou left the band, some of the LP was re-edited to his dismay, and he was further pissed at the remaining members of the band because they listed his credit on the LP third, a snub.
This copy is close to pristine. The cover is perfect with the exception of a 1/4" corner ding bottom right and a proud previous owner named BOOTH, who wrote that nam in ink back top right in the top white area. The VINYL is super clean, sounds amazing. Booth makes another appearance on one of the labels. A killer copy of this amazing treasure of an LP. One of the best copies that has come my way.

SS = (STILL SEALED) The record itself is in brand new condition, assumed never to have been played.M = (MINT) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.M - = (MINT MINUS) MINT- is not MINT but is very close to it, near new, there might be a blemish or two, but overall record and jacket are like new or very close to new.EX = (EXCELLENT) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VG = (VERY GOOD) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.G = (GOOD) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.F = (FAIR) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.P = (POOR) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.B = (BAD) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection fillerWe also use + or - to adjust grades in between, so...this scopes out to: SS/M/M-/EX+/EX/EX-/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G/F/P/B
