ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS!!! - VERVE - V6/5008 - US 1967
THIS FIRST HEAVYWEIGHT PRESSING PLAYS WITH A WARM, DEEP, RICH & STRONG SOUND -
FIRST PRESSING WITH FAMOUS ANY WARHOL PEELABLE BANANA COVER -
COMPLETE BANANA PEEL!
There are three versions of the back cover of the original American release:
The first state has the Eric Emerson “torso” photo on the rear cover.
The second state has a black sticker covering the "torso" photo on the upper part of the rear cover.
The third state has the Emerson image airbrushed out on the rear cover.
FIRST STATE & SECOND STATE AND THIRD STATE ARE ORIGINAL 1967 FIRST PRESSINGS.
This one is the most collectable of all VELVET UNDERGROUND records ever and is VERY RARE.
This one is an original 1967 PEELABLE BANANA COVER issue. It has the original 1st issue sleeve.
LABEL : Original VERVE RECORDS label LP (V6/5008) issued in the USA in 1967.
VINYL - SIDE 1:The vinyl does have a few of light scratches which doesn't effect play.
But there is one visible scratch - that doesn't make any backgroung noises.(Please look at the photos)
VINYL - SIDE 2 : The vinyl does have a few of light scratches which doesn't effect play
LABELS - BOTH SIDES : Nice clean labels.
