Description

Velvet Underground & Nico (Andy Warhol) LP in gatefold jacket.  This pressing was issued in 1967 by Verve Records, V-5008.  This is the mono pressing. It has the black sticker on the back used to cover the original torso picture.

The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition.  The cover is Very Good.  There is a 4" split on the seam on the right top back of the gatefold.  The front of gatefold has no seam splits.  There are two stickers in the top right of the front cover.  The banana has been slightly peeled at the top but was stopped and leaves a 1 1/2 inch ripped section that is still attached to the jacket. Only about 1/2 of the underneath banana picture is exposed.  Overall a very nice copy of the classic album.
