Dear rock record collector , before you read the discription of this record , first THE STORY,

I just bought a HUGE , INCREDIBLE collection lp’s ( around 1000 ) and vinylsingles ( around 2850 ) from a famous Belgian radio dj .... , he was dj from the Belgian National radio station between 1965 and 1978 . In this time he collected all these “rare” vinyls,(keep in mind that this is his PRIVATE COLLECTION and not the radio collection !!) . When he came at home with his new stuff , he put the record on tape or his REVOX , reel to reel recorder and put all records in his huge bookcase ( record case ), they nearly never played more than once ,  he always listened to his tapes .... meanwhile he was also Salesmanager for Polydor Belguim.After 1978 he left his job and Belguim for what it was and went to work in Asia , he never bought any record after this period anymore , all lp’s stayed in Belguim in boxes in a dry room for nearly 20 years !

In this collection you gonna see nearly all first pressings in MINT or NEARMINT condition !

We talk about Progressive , Psychedelic , Folkrock , Beat , Folk , Jazz and Countryrock ... .

I am not going to give a list of what’s inside because  this is too much work , i just gonna put every week new ones on aution, it’s a STUNNING collection !!! Everytime i gonna try to keep the discriptions brief , to the point and no 2 hours reading or psychological ploy to induce you into a state of mind numbness, the discription is what you get !!

One last thing , i guarantee all the conditions in my listings and offer a refund to any buyer who is not satisfied with my gradings , i’ve bought enough rubbish in the past that was over graded beyond belief ( as i’m sure you all have ), so i’am very aware of the need to grade correctly , i hope the foto’s below do this lp justice , as it truly is !

One would be hard pressed to name a rock album whose influence has been as broad and pervasive as The Velvet Underground and Nico. While it reportedly took over a decade for the album's sales to crack six figures, glam, punk, new wave, goth, noise, and nearly every other left-of-center rock movement owes an audible debt to this set. While The Velvet Underground had as distinctive a sound as any band, what's most surprising about this album is its diversity.

While the significance of Nico's contributions have been debated over the years, she meshes with the band's outlook in that she hardly sounds like a typical rock vocalist, and if Andy Warhol's presence as producer was primarily a matter of signing the checks, his notoriety allowed The Velvet Underground to record their material without compromise, which would have been impossible under most other circumstances. Few rock albums are as important as The Velvet Underground and Nico, and fewer still have lost so little of their power to surprise and intrigue more than 30 years after first hitting the racks.
