Description

This is an original of the Velvet Underground & Nico LP in mono; it was produced by Andy Warhol and released in 1967. It is identified on the cover as V/V6-5008. The 2 inch tip of the banana skin has come off; we have the tip (see it in the photo) and we will include it with the album. The banana skin has been opened about an inch more. It has not been opened any more than that. The cover is in very good shape, with a only small amount of foxing around the edges. The liner is in tact and in very good shape; it is slightly beige around the edges. The liner features part of the Verve catalog. The record is in very good shape, both sides. It is in an unsealed plastic bag and appears to have been played very little. The back of the cover is the upside man version. The record is on the Verve label, a division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc. This rare LP is in very, very good shape. It comes from an estate of a college professor.
