Very interesting/RARE 1967 USA EAST COAST MONO PRESSING of the Velvet Undergrounds FIRST LP!! This copy is in pretty nice shape over-all with the Andy Warhol designed front cover sticker remaining nearly intact!! The LP itself is NOT in the greatest of conditon, this copy was definately well loved by the previous owner & the record shows all the normal signs of regular use: Surface scratches, scuffs, etc...The LP is in about VG condition, it DOES look like it should play OK, I am unable to play grade at the moment so I can't say positively. The original gatefold cover is in VG+ shape all the way around with only some normal shelf wear and a bit of ring wear, the gatefold is fully intact with only ONE half inch split in the upper right corner of the LP pocket. This is the original East Coast Mono pressing on Verve (V-5008) issued in 1967, the rear cover does have the large black "Emerson-lawsuit-threat sticker", The sticker is in about VG+ condition showing only minor shelf wear. The all important front cover is FULLY intact & the original Banana sticker IS NEARLY FULLY INTACT!! This is a really NICE copy of a LP that will only continue to get harder to find! This one even comes with it's ORIGINAL VERVE inner sleeve!! Nice Find!....I am only able to accept money orders as payment for the time being (sorry guys!!)...I am more than happy to combine shipping on multiple wins!...If anyone needs any further info let me know & THANKS for checking out my records!!
