Description

Up for auction is a copy of The Velvet Underground and Nico, released in 1967 on Verve, cat no V6 5008, a stereo East Coast pressing. This is the airbrushed variant, without the Eric Emerson torso on the rear.

Condition: quite a few marks & scuffs on both sides, but everything seems to play through without any jumps or sticks (though with inevitable clicks & pops). Certainly sounds better than it looks. Some wear to centre holes on both sides. Cover lacks the banana sticker, has some wear & staining, and a five-inch split on the upper seam. Spine is legible, no writing or serious damage. G/G+.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
