Description

VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO - ORIGINAL PEELABLE BANANA LP

PRODUCED BY ANDY WARHOL   - VERVE  V-5008

This has the original Peelable Banana Cover.

The banana was never fully peeled down - just an inch or so then stuck right back on.

However the very tip of the banana is loose (see in picture how it sometimes falls down).

There is also a wrinkle near the bottom of the banana but that was not caused by peeling

because the bottom was not peeled.

It has been stored with other albums and the white cover is somewhat dingy around the edges,

the back cover the same way.  The inside cover pictures are excellent. The opening spine is in

excellent condition and the printing on the edge is in very good condition.

It clearly reads:  The Velvet Underground & Nico    Produced by Andy Warhol  V-5008.

The record itself looks to be in very good condition, with very few minor light scratches.

Only one scratch really seems to be of any consequence, if played.  The original sleeve for the

album seems to have been replaced by one of the same era but for Atco Records.

I used to work for MGM Records and this is an extra copy that I have had for years

but never played but a few times.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

I pack carefully and sturdily and ship promptly.

I aim for an absolutely positive experience for all concerned!

Thank you!

Shipping will be $4.00 for U.S.P.S. Media Mail

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I will NOT be shipping this item Internationally. I have had some requests from foreign buyers and I will not take the risk of damage through Customs. Sorry! Also, I wanted to let potential buyers know that I will be shipping this item Priority Mail - not Media Mail as I stated in the listing. This upgrade will be at my expense for I want this LP to arrive safe and sound and in a timely manner. For those who are hesitant about buying from a "Newbie" please check my feedback. Even though I am new at Ebay Selling, I take it very seriously. I pack extra carefully and ship very promptly. I aim for an absolutely positive experience for all concerned! Thanks for looking!
