VELVET UNDERGROUND     "THE VELVET UNDERGROUND"     MGM SE-4617   STEREO   1969

Of course this band needs no introduction...N.Y.C !!!!   LOU REED !!!!  This their third album was different from their first two. A bit more laid back and diverse, it failed to make an impression on the charts and they lost their reording contract for a bit when it bombed. But the good news was that the songs, listed as group compositions continued to go in place most others did not.  "Candy Says", "What Goes On", "Pale Blue Eyes", "Jesus', "I'm set Free" and the eight plus minute epic "The Murder Mystery'' highlight an album worth its weigh in musical gold. Also very difficult to find in this condition...

RECORD: VG++ only one scuff keeps this from a Mint - No spindle wear, Beautiful

COVER: VG++   Excellent condition except for two tiny corner crinkles with...No ring wear, writings, stickers, stains, seam splits or other damage    PHOTO GLARE AT BOTTOM
