Catalogue number: 2351 056 Mono/Stereo: Stereo Country: UK First issued: 1967 Matrix Side 1: 2351056 A//1 420 116 Matrix Side 2: 2351056 B//1 420 123 Outer sleeve: Unlaminated Andy Warhol designed, non-flipback gatefold with peelable banana. Pictures: Click here to view photo gallery General: First A1/B1 press UK MGM disc in imported US Verve sleeve with the factory applied UK MGM catalogue sticker. This is the original US Verve V/V6 5008 Warhol designed gatefold sleeve complete with 'peelable' banana on the front. The vinyl is in mint- condition but the sleeve has suffered some wear and tear. Audio quality: Unless otherwise stated below the audio quality of records I sell will always be at least excellent. Grading (vinyl): Mint- (one or two extremely light hairlines) Grading (labels): Mint- (one or two extremely light spindle marks) Grading (outer sleeve): VG (rubbing to front and back, repaired seam split to top back edge, the banana 'peel' has been removed and replaced - curiosity obviously got the better of someone - and does have slight damage, general wear all over, name in biro back top left - masked on photo to save embarrassing the guilty party) Grading (inner sleeve): Mint- (very light creasing) Summary: Whilst the vinyl is in absolutely superb condition the sleeve is intact but has not been cared for. Click any of the images below for more detailed photos of the sleeve, inner(s), labels, and inserts (if applicable)
The photos are of the actual item(s) for sale. All flaws, if any, are fully described above and gradings are strictly as per the RC Price Guide (+ and - are used to highlight strengths and weaknesses). I do not knowingly sell records that either jump or are warped unless these faults are described in detail above.

Note: By placing a bid you acknowledge that you have read and fully understood the following paragraph.
The above rates include a small handling fee. This covers the cost of materials, the time to pick and package the item(s) securely, and transport to the Post Office. You only pay what it costs but this is NOT just the price of the postage. Emails requesting postage cost breakdowns or even cheaper rates will not receive a reply.
All items are carefully inspected and professionally cleaned on a Keith Monks Record Cleaning machine (as used by the BBC) prior to despatch. Records are shipped in heavy duty industry standard record mailers with additional protection to ensure that they reach you in exactly the condition they were despatched. LPs are removed from both outer sleeve and inner sleeve and placed in a shipping inner and outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. In the unlikely event that you're not completely satisfied with any item simply return it within seven days of receipt in its original condition and packaging for a full no-quibble refund (you must pay the return postage cost).
Despatch:
All items are normally despatched within five working days of receipt of cleared funds. If you pay by cheque please allow at least a further seven days for cheque clearance. For international shipments please also allow time for customs clearance within your country.
Payment terms:
In order to minimise the risk of fraud, PayPal will ONLY be accepted as a payment method for sales which have an aggregate value of £150.00 or less. This means that if your total invoice value (excluding postage and packing), whether it is for one item or more than one item, exceeds £150.00 payment by PayPal will NOT be accepted and any PayPal payment will be treated as non-payment and refunded. Payment of such invoices may be made in cash (Pounds sterling, US Dollars or Euros only), by a cheque drawn on a UK bank, or preferably by bank transfer (IBAN, Swift details available to the winning bidder on request). These terms override any other payment options shown elsewhere on this page. By placing a bid for this item you accept that you understand and agree to these terms. Absolutely no exceptions.
I am always interested in buying high quality collections of LPs. If you have a collection to sell please use the 'Ask seller a question' link to send brief details (quantity, type of music with a few examples, and a contact email address) first.
