Item: VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO (Verve V6-5008)
WARHOL GATEFOLD BANANA TORSO COVER in exceptional condition - Cover Only (STEREO). Rare 1st US pressing. NO RECORD.

Front Cover: VG+/M-: BANANA IS 70% PEELED.
Against the brighter bright white background, the photo exaggerates the age discoloration at the edges. The eye cannot pick up all that the camera sees.
White areas of this heavy US cover are white, glossy, and very clean with only slight age discoloration at edges. No ring wear, No edge wear but for one 1/8" upper nick, No shelf wear, Only the slightest possible corner wear, No seam splits or wear, No tape, No stickers, No writing, No cut outs. Only very slight wear to name. Several light hairline marks upper left.
All 4 corners are strong and square. No edge wear but for a single ¼” inch area of wear on the spine over part of the word “Verve.”
Back Cover: VG+/M-: Back cover, including Torso photo and all other photos, are clean, clear, and bright with no wear. Very slight lower ring wear that does not extend into any photos. Some slight age discoloration at edges.
Inside photos and writing: VG+/M-: Strong and clear with no wear. Some small areas of slight age discoloration that do not obscure any portions of photos or writing.
Notables: Entire gatefold cover is in exceptionally CLEAN and CRISP condition!
