Condition of play surface of record is VG with a moderate amount of visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and one very small surface scratch which can be felt and which will cause two or three ticks at the end of 'The Gift'.  This record is a deep groove pressing and a real good quiet player aside from the aforementioned ticks.  A-side label has a thin white ridge along half of its circumference, this is a slight manufacturing defect.  Labels have a little wear around the center hole and a few light spindle marks.  Condition of cover is G/VG with some contact and ring wear, small splits, flaking,  and some areas where the top layer paper is missing around all three edges, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.  Verve Record stock inner sleeve has a split in the middle of one edge which I have repaired with clear tape, some stains, and a few slight wrinkles.  I have priced this FIRST PRESS LP modestly due to the condition issues, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its final value - This LP would be a nice addition to any Velvet Underground or alternative rock record collection!  Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (17.50) AND GERMANY is $24.00 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!!  PLEASE NOTE: AN EXTRA $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED OVER $50.00 GOING TO BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES.  ALSO, DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY.  I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES.  Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S.   BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
