Description: Original MONO Issue not re-issue.

Condition (Disc/Sleeve): VG / VG     VG =Record shows wear and has surface scuffs or light hairline marks. The vinyl still has a good luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye and may cause some surface noise. Original laminated flipback cover has a crease lower right, but generally vg condition for age, no writing or seam splits, original inner sleeve, spine is clean and no cracked.

Comments: Hard to know what to say about this classic album. If you know the music and want to what it sounded like in 1968, prepare for a bass-heavy bludgeoning mono onslaught that puts the 45th anniversary issue to shame! Not a big seller in it's day, there was only one mono and one stereo pressing on the silver-on-black UK Verve label, and the mono was not issued again on vinyl until last year, when Sundazed and Universal both both did super weedy quiet re-masters. The original UK issue is generally acknowledged as the best mono version. I have recently upgraded my copy (at considerable cost!) so am moving this one on.
