Description
Artist: VENTURES
Title: “THE VENTURES play Telstar, The Lonely Bull, and Others”
Label: DOLTON. Catalog number is BST-8019. STEREO PROMO, label is cream with blue text.
Year: 1963
Personnel: Don Wilson, rhythm and lead guitar; Bob Bogle, lead and bass guitar; Nokie Edwards, lead and bass guitar; Mel Taylor, drums.
Condition:
DISC: Nice VG++ with full brilliant gloss. Fidelity is excellent. Has a few paper scuffs and a slight hairline or two, but no serious marks. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity and only an occasional soft tic.
JACKET: Nice VG to VG+. Has some shelf wear, and there is cracking along the top and bottom seams in several spots. Reverse shows some surface wear. There is a one-inch seam split at top center. “Audition Record” is stamped on the reverse in red ink. Overall far from perfect, but probably acceptable for most collectors, given the scarcity of Ventures promo LPs.
