Condition
The vinyl is visually graded VG overall. This is a conservative grading, with visible scratches, scuffs and surface marks. The record has been photographed under bright LED lighting to show its condition as honestly and accurately as possible.
Playback – Please Read Carefully
• Black Dog has a noticeable scratch approximately one-third of the way into the track, producing a series of continuous audible clicks.
• Towards the end of Four Sticks, a deeper scratch causes a succession of loud pops which continue into Going To California, where they become more pronounced. Buyers should expect repeated loud pops during this section of playback.
• Aside from the faults described above, the remainder of the record plays as expected for a well-used vintage copy, with occasional surface noise, clicks and crackle consistent with its age and visual condition.
The heavyweight unlaminated gatefold sleeve is graded VG, with moderate edge and corner wear, light creasing and general handling wear consistent with age.
The original inner sleeve is included and has seam splits.
This is a genuine Version 1 UK first pressing of Led Zeppelin IV. Although it has the playback issues described above, it remains a highly collectable original Plum Atlantic pressing and represents an opportunity to own an authentic first UK issue without the premium commanded by higher-grade examples.
The record will be cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine before dispatch and securely packaged in a high-quality LP mailer with stiffeners to ensure safe delivery.
