The original US-issued motion picture soundtrack of Alfred Hitchcock's
VERTIGO
from 1958. Mercury Records #MG20384
Music by Bernard Herrmann. Photo of James Stewart & Kim Novak on the color cover. A nice vinyl find in good condition.

CONDITION OF VINYL RECORD: VG++ with a few pops from age but no scuffs, no skips, no scratches.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: VG- or GOOD+++ Very slight ringwear on the cover, a little blemish near the upper right, some creases along the bottom, right lower corner slightly bumped. Top seam split from right to left about 3 inches. There's a little piece of transparent tape in the middle of top seam, and that's pretty much where the split stops. Hard to see the tape, you have to hold it to the light to see it. Bottom seam and spine are VERY GOOD, only the top seam has the problem. Back cover is white with credits and album notes: no ring-wear or yellowing here. Someone wrote the name 'neyes' on James Stewart's forehead in old ballpoint ink. It is light and normally would not have showed up in a photo scan--I used the photo artwork to make this more pronounced.
Original Mercury Inner Dust Sleeve: Very nice to get this included, though it is split along the bottom.
