Description
VERTIGO ANNUAL 1970 Double Vinyl UK Large Swirl With Original INNER Sleeves EX!
Here is a really nice condition copy of the original, first issue, of ‘The Vertigo Annual 1970’.Bought new in 1970 and kept by single owner (in a plastic sleeve), this is likely one of the better copies you’ll come across.
It’s a double album, in a gatefold sleeve. Both original Vertigo inner sleeves are present, together with the original price sticker- see left. The price sticker was removed from the sleeve - without damage - at time of purchase and fixed to the polythene sleeve.
The inner sleeves - which appear to have the printed date stamp 0970 bottom left - are clean.
The vinyl looks barely played and the sleeve is in excellent condition.
The last comparable copy sold earlier this year on ebay for £113.00.
Tracks:
Colosseum - Elegy Rod Stewart - Handbags And Gladrags Jimmy Campbell - Half Baked May Blitz - I Don't Know Juicy Lucy - Mississippi Woman Fairfield Parlour - In My Box Magna Carta - Goin' My Way (Road Song) Affinity - Three Sisters Black Sabbath - Behind The Wall Of Sleep Gracious - Introduction Cressida - To Play Your Little Game Nucleus - Elastic Rock Manfred Mann Chapter Three - One Way Glass Bob Downes - No Time Like The Present Dr. Strangely Strange - Summer Breeze Uriah Heep - Gypsy

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played to the point where the sound quality may have noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
Thank you for looking at my auction. All items are posted via standard post (unless otherwise directed) and I will obtain, as proof of postage, a Certificate of Posting. On valuable items, you might want to consider having them sent via Registered or Signed For and taking out insurance, which I can organise
