Catalogue Number: 6499 407/8(This is the number from the labels,and set no.:6657 001,as stated on the sleeve,and in the Record collector price guide,this is a full U.K. Original Verigo Swirl label release with original Swir inner sleeves from 1970.

Description Of Item For Sale: 2 LP compilation set of some of the Giants from the rare Vertigo catalogue of Progressive rock artists.A great LP to provide a taster of the music from the 17 groups featured.Artists and tracks are written inside the gatefold sleeve with details of the Albums which provide these particular tracks.The sleeve in particular is not in great shape,please look carefully at my grading which should be pretty accurate.

Condition:

Sleeve- Very Good-.Far better on the inside than the outside.Has edge wear all around.Worst problem is a sellotape repair at the bottom right(front only)used to overcome a problem of the fold which connects front to back becomming unglued.On the plus side,the rest of the sleeve is strong,has clear readable writing,no scribbles or stains.Better ones will surely come up on Ebay,but I am starting this auction at 1p,so it could go cheaply and act as a filler untill a better one comes along.

Vinyl- Excellent-.All surfaces are nice and glossy.There are no deep scratches,but there are some surface marks and the occational light scratch.Overall plays very well,does not stick or jump.There is the odd light crackle,but this record plays nicely and is enjoyable to say the least.

Labels- Excellent.All nice and clean with only light spindle marks which are not obvious unless making a close inspection.

Innersleeves-Very Good.No splits,very little crinkles,but have yellowed with age.

Extra Items,e.g.Poster,Insert-NONE.

I have been honest with this description.Although the record is not the same high standard in condition as I would normally sell,it is still perfectly usable,and a hard record to find in any condition.

All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as folows:

Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.

Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.Cover/Packaging might have slight wear/creasing.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
