VERY RARE 1964 BEATLES CHRISTMAS FLEXI DISK

 TRI FOLD FAN CLUB BULLETIN

 MINT- CONDITION!

NO RESERVE!

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A PRISTINE, MINT (MINUS) COPY OF THE BEATLES 1964 CHRISTMAS BULLETIN / FLEXI DISK. THIS TRI-FOLD BULLETIN WAS ONLY MADE AVAILABLE TO FAN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY. I RATE THIS AS MINT MINUS CONDITION AS THERE IS AN EXTREMELY SLIGHT BLEMISH ON THE DISK SIDE THAT CANNOT BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES OR BY JUST LOOKING AT IT. I HAVE TESTED THE DISK ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY WITH NO HISSES OR POPS. REMARKABLE FOR A CARDBOARD RECORD THAT IS 49 YEARS OLD. THE FOLDS ARE PERFECTLY INTACT AND THE CORNERS ARE CRISP AND SHARP. THIS WAS OBTAINED FROM THE ESTATE OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAS BEEN WELL PRESERVED AND TAKEN CARE OF THESE LAST 49 YEARS!

I AM AUCTIONING AND SELLING OTHER ITEMS FROM THIS ESTATE, CHECK THEM OUT! AND WATCH FOR MORE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.

“U.S. fans received an edited version of The Beatles' Christmas Record , which was sent to British fan club members in 1963.  As opposed to using flexi-discs, the U.S. fan club sent the message in a tri-fold cardboard mailer, with the "record" embedded in one of the flaps of cardboard. When opened, the top panel of the record side of the folder has a cropped version of the picture appearing on the back of the British newsletter.” The Record-Folder was manufactured by Allied Creative Service, Inc., New York.
The U.S. record plays at 33 1/3 r.p.m.

The Christmas message was recorded on. October 17, 1963, at the recording session of "I Want To Hold Your Hand / This Boy". With George Martin producing. The Beatles sang and talked their way through press agent Tony Barrow's script.

THIS GEM IS BEING AUCTIONED WITH NO RESERVE!
