Recording Bye Bye Lovey by Billy Golden

 

You are bidding on a scarce 7” E. Berliner Gramophone Phonograph Record with the original 1887 and 1888 Patent Dates.  This record appears by the patent dates to be one of Berliner’s earliest records.

 

The record reads E. Berliner Patents, Nov 8 1887, May 15 1888.  The recording inscription says Bye Bye Lovey by Billy Golden Nov 4/95 NY and the record number is 727.

 

I hope my photos show its condition because I am no expert on these old records.  I will also be listing more gramophone records in the near future.
