Description
HUSKER DU - STATUES b/w AMUSEMENT 7" single released by Reflex Records, catalog A REFLEX. Early 1980s release...this is an alternate sleeve to the 1981 first pressing with a St. Paul, MN address. This sleeve has a Mendota Heights MN address which was Greg Norton's (vocals/bass) mother's address which they used as a base for Reflex Records. This is a super rare edition -- only 11 people on Discogs "have" it. The number pressed with this sleeve is unknown but it can't be many.
Track A (Statues) was recorded at Blackbery Way, MPLS. Track B (Amusement) was recorded live in Oct. 1980. (c) 1980 Husker Du.
Sleeve grade is VG+. There is some aging discoloration and wrinkling along the top but corners are sharp and it's a clean sleeve. There is a bit of sticker residue on back, see pictures. This is a paper picture sleeve from 1980, I rarely see any that are close to this good of condition.
Vinyl grades Strong VG+ or better - really plays and looks near mint. I see a couple of really light hairlines under direct bright light that keep it from being NM. There are no deficiencies in play or appearance of the disc. Labels are in pristine condition.
Here's an opportunity to own one of the true punk unicorns...
