A RARE EXAMPLE OF THIS ORIGINAL US COLUMBIA 78 FROM THE NEW ORLEANS OWLS

TAMPEEKO (Audio here https://clyp.it/isphqsvp )   WEST END ROMP (Audio here https://clyp.it/szjukamx )   BOTH SIDES RECORDED 14TH APRIL 1926     The New Orleans Owls played regularly at the Hotel Roosevelt and other hotels in New Orleans between the years of 1922 and 1929. They were one of only a handful of bands that were recorded in the city of New Orleans in the 1920s. The band descended from The Invincibles String Band which had been playing around New Orleans since 1912.       USA COLUMBIA 688-D 10" 78rpm SHELLAC LAMINATE   CONDITION:-   SOME DISTORTION ON LOUD PASSAGES BUT OVERALL NOT BAD AT ALL - LISTEN TO THE AUDIO CLIPS!! 
LABELS ARE SLIGHTLY DULL BUT NO TEARS OR WRITING ON THEM        TWO GREAT SIDES ON THIS VERY RARE 78   SO DONT MISS IT
