Description

Here’s one of the rarest Rolling Stones records in existence! This is a promo copy of their very first 45 ever to be released in the US. The A side is a cover the Beatles’ song “I Wanna Be Your Man”, and the B side is the semi-instrumental “Stoned”. This single was recalled almost immediately upon release because of the controversial song title. The vinyl grades a strong VG, mostly due to some overall scuffing. Both sides play very well. The labels have some pen marks, as it was common for disc jockeys to mark labels to indicate which side to play on air. The matrix has MR in a circle and “Bell Sound” machine stamped in the trailoff.
