The Beatles
Rubber Soul
VERY 1st press
Loud Cut version
This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!
Catalogue number: PMC 1267
Matrix Numbers Side 1: XEX 579-1
Matrix Numbers Side 2: XEX 580-1
Mothers/Stampers Side 1: HL @ 3 O'clock 4 @ 9 O'clock
Mothers/Stampers Side 2: OD @ 3 O'clock 2 @ 9 O'clock
Vinyl: VG+. Lovely shine and weight. There are a couple of hairline marks, but played the Lp through and found 1 tiny skip on Norwegian Wood as well as a couple of light skips to track 1 side 2...But these will probably dissapear with a good clean and/or a slightly heavier stylus than mine.
Could do with a professional clean to get the minimal dust and dirt from inside the grooves.
Superb loud and clear sound reproduction.
Labels: EX-. Nice and clear. Very few spindle marks. Nice, raised "KT" tax code on side 1.
No writing anywhere.
Minimal hole wear.
Just light markings from the housing in the poly-lined inner.
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES.
Real display piece condition.
Cover: VG+. Lovely shiny front cover...
VERY strong and clear spine.
NO WRITING ANYWHERE.
Good strong corners, with just light rubbing...
Garrod and Lofthouse PATENTS PENDING flipback in great condition
Very nice to display.
There is a tiny 2cm spot of wear to the bottom seam but certainly NOT a split as it isn't all the way through.
Inner: Original "Use Emitex" in EX- condition. Would certainly be EX if there wasn't a small 3cm split to one side!
ALL IN ALL A RARE ALBUM IN VERY GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT.
