PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

LPs are a beautiful VG++ with the exception of side 1, which is VG+. Cover is a nice VG with 2 fray spots on the top edge. Includes original printed inner sleeves with complete lyrics. Now for the real reason you're reading this. A pair of insanely rare original 12 X 12 two-sided in-store promotional displays issued by Elelktra/Asylum in 1987. These were purchased from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager who was a big fan of The Cure and decided to keep a pair from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 80s. Rare as hens teeth. Displays have NO splits, tears, stains, or bends and a few tiny staple holes on one of them. These are the kinds of items Cure fans are going to be fighting over in the very near future so don't sleep. You will never see another lot like this again.
