Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES'  5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Only light marks to her-which DO NOT MAKE HER SKIP OR JUMP
Lovely rich sound reproduction.
Some crackle on the run-ins and light background noise throughout...due to dirt/dust. I found a pop through track 3 & 4, side 1.
All that is required is a gentle professional clean and I am sure she would upgrade.

Labels: VG+. Lovely and clear... Spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light as well as superficial marks to side 1.

THE DOT BEFORE THE 'U' IN UK! I have seen this on Sgt Pepper albums, but not Help!

THE LABEL ALSO HAS THE CREDIT OF "LARK MUS." FOR TRACK 1, SIDE 2, RATHER THAN THE LATER PRINTING: "LARK MUSIC"
ALSO
Track 4, side 1 has the '*' AFTER the "I Need You Title" rather than the later printing, which put it BEFORE the song title.

Still bright white front laminated cover.
Some slight rubbing to the corners, with tiny split of 5mm to the bottom right corner at the opening.
Some spidering to the front laminate and discolouration to the back card-also has 6 tiny crosses next to track listing on the back.
That is it.

Inner:  EX. It is the original "Use Emitex" inner.
NO SPLITS
NO TEARS
NO WRITING
(barely any creasing!)
Slight age discolouration and light feathering to the opening-THAT'S ALL!!
She has certainly kept this record in a wonderful condition.
It is the earlier 'tracing-paper' lined inner.

SO-THIS IS A VERY FIRST PRESSING, WITH TYPING ERROR ON SIDE 1, GREAT SOUND THROUGHOUT AND A SOLID COVER-WRAPPED IN A TOP NOTCH 'USE EMITEX' INNER.
