This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The vinyl has has light needle marks throughout BUT after listening to her ALL THE WAY THROUGH, I only found some light background crackle-which I am sure would improve with just a gentle professional clean.
I noticed around 4 pops on track 1, side 4....

NOTHING TO MAKE HER JUMP OR STICK

FLAT as the day she was born!

The labels:

NO "An EMI Recording" text to ANY label

EX-. All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER Apple.
There are light spindle marks to each label, these can be seen when angling to the light....
VERY NICE!!
Next to NO HOLE WEAR at all!
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

Again;1st print: NO "An EMI Recording" text on ANY of the labels!

The Cover: NUMBERED: 0086905 It is the first run TOP loading.
 Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing!!
The spine remains strong and clear, with only a small amount of lifting to the laminate near the top.
Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
She is in great condition, but does have the following: There are dings to the bottom two corners, with a little creaing to the back, bottom right corner of the gatefold. There are two more pronounced abrasion marks, one to the front and one to the back as well as some small fingers of spidering eminating from the seam near the opening.
HARDLY ANY spidering to the laminate-more so she carries small impressions-really nothing to worry about at all.
GLORIOUS and clean on the inside of the gatefold.

Very good and very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold....Still opens with that lovely crackle as if it's the first day of opening.

Inners:  Original BLACK inners. They are both well looked after but do carry some wear to each.
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
As you can see in the images provided: one has a tear of around 5cm to it's window. Both have feathering to the opening and the other has a small split to the bottom seam of around 5cm. I list this as I believe buyers want to know what they are getting-not surprises!
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL


Pictures: ALL present (John and George, Ringo & Paul) They are EXCELLENT AND ORIGINAL.
They DON'T have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall. All I can see is a few light impressions and what appears to be a factory error for Paul as the sides are slightly roughly cut-factory cut thought, not fan cut!
Lovely and bright.
Beautiful white backings too!

Poster: VG+! Full size and with lyrics to the back.
There are two small holes in the cetral creasing area, as well as a couple of small splits to the edges, along the crease....REALLY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT AT ALL
 NO pin holes.
WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED

IT'S  THE FIRST MONO PRESS, WITHOUT "AN EMI PRODUCTION" TEXT!!!
