This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

QUALITY 160g
VG. Lovely QUALITY weight!! There are some light marks to her, with side 2 having 4 or five more prominent ones. I have just played the WHOLE of the record, WITHOUT any skipping or jumping...I found only some occasional light background crackle-more so in the quieter sections, with the majority of the album sounding WONDERFULLY RICH in her sound reproduction.
There is some crackle at the start of track, side 1, with some light tics too, but gets progressively better.
A sure testament to the quality of old original vinyl!
A professional clean would help and Bob's yer uncle-you've got a very nice blast from the past...In glorious MONO.
Labels: VG. Very nice condition, with side 2 having a small degree of central hole wear-as can be seen in the images provided.
"The Gramophone Co..." rim text as well as "Sold In U.K." text.

EJ DAY Cover-These covers were made at the height of popularity, to keep up with demand. It is estimated for every 10 Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves printed, there was just the 1 EJ Day cover printed...Making these considerably more rare than their counterpart.
Light rubbing/knocking to the the corners with a few fingers of spidering eminating from the seams, as well as some crescents of spidering to the front lamination near the opening. As well as some feathering to the opening
Slightly discoloured back card-FREE FROM WRITING!

Lovely strong E.J.Day flipbacks.
This little beauty is more unusual as it DOES NOT HAVE TEXT BELOW THE "£" SIGN in the bottom right corner of the front.
-NOT MANY OF THESE AROUND-
Inner: G+. It is the ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" tracing paper lined inner.
There is some creasing to her, as well as a split all the way to one side and another to the seamon the opposite side. There's also some age discolouration to the paper...but hey, she is 50 years old!
Certainly done her job in looking after the vinyl over all these years.
All in all this would benefit from a gentle clean to suck the dust out of the grooves and then, I know, she'll be a lovely addition to anyones collection....Sounds GREAT,feels GREAT, looks GREAT!
