PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


You never know what you'll find in an LP sleeve.  Enclosed in this promotional 12" copy of Gil Scott-Heron's B-Movie was a personally addressed letter from Arista records' R&B Vice President Richard Smith and dated December 2, 1981.  It was addressed to then just-elected Illinois senator Mr. Alan J. Dixon and promised he would find the track "provocative and entertaining" irrespective of the side of the political aisle on which he sat.  Arista company logo is embossed in the top right hand corner of the letterhead, so you know this is a genuine artifact.  Reflections LP is a beautiful VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs and cover is VG+ with a bit of ring.  Includes original printed inner with complete lyrics.  "B" Movie 12" promo is a beautiful VG++ and cover is VG/VG+ with a top right hand corner bend.
