VG+/EX, The Beatles “Magical Mystery Tour”, SMAL-2835, Capitol Records, 1967, Gatefold Cover. Rare Variation with “Manufactured by Capitol Records, Inc." at bottom labels, ASCAP credits on side one and BMI credits on side two, with no "All Side-one selections are published by Comet Music Corp, ASCAP" under side 1 titles on left inside gatefold.
The Beatles vinyl 12" LP,"Magical Mystery Tour", Capitol, SMAL-2835, Stereo, 1967,is a True First Pressing, made in the USA, has the glossy NEMS Enterprise cover that was only found on early releases of this LP. This is a Nice, Clean, Solid Vinyl Record. We purchased it new and always kept it in a climate controlled, smoke-free environment and was handled and played by only knowledgeable, mature, and careful individuals.
This Extremely Rare LP initially sold barely anything since LP's were also really expensive for most people back then and therefore had a very small run and is now incredibly hard to find.
"Magical Mystery Tour", Capitol, SMAL-2835, Stereo, 1967 is a stunning collectible example of The Beatles 1st issue, released by Capitol/EMI records in 1967. Songs were produced by George Martin and recorded in England and pressed on heavy vinyl with the Standard Capitol labels on both sides in the USA.
Both Record Labels are in immaculate great condition, without any noticeable wear, discoloration, or spindle marks, but with discreet writing on the label border of Side-1.
Both sides of the LP are in beautiful almost Excellent stunningly bright and glossy vinyl surfaces on both sides, with minor scuffs and fine scratches, discreet writing on the label, which do not affect the playing quality when listening on my stereo set speakers but are faintly evident with headphones. Some of the crackle sounds are quite strong on a few tracks.
Otherwise, the LP plays through all the tracks with a great sound quality: no pops, sticking, jumps, and but with some detectable crackle. The sound quality is simply Superb with no distortion and no groove wear, either. It comes in its original plain white inner sleeve which only has a few minor wrinkles at the corners and one minor seam split.
The vividly immaculate 24-page full color picture book describing “The Story of the Magical Mystery Tour” in 36 pictorial and editorial chapters, sets the kaleidoscopic mood for this psychedelic, parti-colored virtuosity.
The equally unique heavy gauge cover is on solid, flat NM condition, with discreet writing on the inside front but has totally unblemished exteriors, front and back. It is fittingly, a beautiful sleeve with no spinal wear, rips, tears, splits, annotations, and no corner wear. The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely any feathering.
I use secure record mailers and always ship vinyl outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.
