PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


MEGA rare Sire/Columbia House pressing from 1987.  Includes original printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!  LP side 1 is a beautiful VG++ and side 2 is a gorgeous near mint minus.  Cover is VG+/VG++ with just a hint of ring.  Now for the real reason you're reading this.  A pair of insanely rare original 12 X 12 two-sided in-store promotional displays issued by Sire Records in 1987.  These were purchased from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager who was a huge Bunnymen fan and decided to keep a pair from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 80s.  Rare as hens teeth.  Displays are pristine with NO peel spots, splits, tears, bends or staple holes whatsoever.  These are the kinds of items Echo & The Bunnymen fans are going to be fighting over in the very near future so don't sleep.  You will never see another lot like this again.
