Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

CRAZY RARE original George Piros mastered Presswell first pressing from October of 1974 on Virgin's Gemini twin label with original printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-.  Cover is still in the original shrink wrap(!) with some very light wear on the bottom corners where there is a small opening in the cellophane and a thin piece of transparent tape at the opening that folds over to the inside and holds the shrink wrap tightly in place.  Even has the original $5.99 2nd Hand Tunes (R.I.P.) price sticker on the cellophane in the top right hand corner on the front cover from when I purchased this rarity at their Lincoln Park location around 28 years ago(!) in the late 1990s.  At that point prog still hadn't fully recovered from its four-letter word status after it was swept under the rug by the punk revolution in the late 1970s but by the 2000s that would all change as the shadow it cast grew longer over time and it regained its rightfully respectful place in the annals of rock music and became highly collectable, this LP in particular having a huge influence.  Long live prog.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
