PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE French pressing on the BYG label from 196?/197? with a completely unique label variation, fully laminated gatefold cover and original rounded poly bag inner sleeve with a tab at the bottom for easy removal!!! I have had 6 or 7 copies of this rarity pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but I have never seen this variant before. For starters, the only text that appears above the center hole is the BYG logo!! Artist, title and song texts are ALL underneath the center hole(!) Producer credits are in a single line at the very bottom and Claude Delcloo's Executive Producer credit is completely absent! Even the font is unique, with a much chunkier and, as a result, wider span. The Mono-Stereo text appears underneath the side indicators to the right of the center hole and the catalog number to the left of the center hole is more complete, including the Actuel volume/catalog number!!!! This variant was most likely pressed in a tiny quantity as there is not one entry for it in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. RARE as hens teeth. LP is a GORGEOUS VG++/NM- and cover is a beautiful VG++ with barely a hint of wear on the front. You will not be disappointed.
