Description
VICTOR J. KIMMEL -- Suspended In Motion --hard to find, original 1986 U.S. album. Wicked rare and apparently completely-unknown mid-1980's Private Press Electronic-Synth Instrumental LP out of the San Luis Obispo, California area that ranges from very tasty Electro-Funk on tracks like "Locomotion" and "Dance Jumanju" to heavily Kraftwerk-influenced Electronic Synth-Pop on "Urban Rush," "Ansel's Run" and others, to far-out Perrey-Kingsley-style Moog-Psych-Pop on "Beyond The Pale,""They're Out There" and "The Marionettes." Primitive cover photo of Kimmel playing two early Yamahas really captures the DIY-Private Press vibe of this ... a really good one for fans of incredibly obscure, home-made Electronic Synth records. There doesn't seem to be any information out there on this one, and I've never seen another copy. See photo for track list. Cover: VG+++/Near Mint-, still in shrink wrap. Record: Near Mint-, album was sealed until I opened it so has only been played 1-2 times, on Victor Productions private label, U.S. press.
