Scarce 1977 Japanese Audio Inspection vol.2 Technics 52-45 Audiophile 'not for sale' record. Japanese stereo pressing, with them going for a best possible version of what was played. Schubert Octet in F major op.166 from the Vienna Chamber Ensemble (Still looks to be the 1st desk of each section of their instrument of the VPO, I know this is true of several of them from memory, Hetzel Prinz & Hubner for example). From the height of his musical inspiration in 1824, this is an epic scale masterpiece. 30 IPs taping without limiters, no compression in the transfer. Quite an "in the room" experience listen. The achilles heel of some audiophile recordings is the performers, but this is a match for all the major label standard issues for who these are, the cream of Vienna in their home town legend. This is perfect for users of modern narrow profile contact line, paratrace or shibata styli, and is absolutely fine with Stereo carts from any era, but you will be missing out compared to a high end best profile option. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
