Description

Up for auction is hard-to-find Japanese pressing 33 rpm LP record by Khanh Ly, with album title “Diem Xua”.  It was released by Nippon Columbia in 1981.  At that time, the record was priced JPY2,800, or roughtly US$24.00.

 

The album title is “Utsukushii Mukashi! in Japanese, or “Diem Xua” in Vietnamese.  The LP includes 10 well known Trinh Cong Son songs like Diem Xua, Nhu Canh Bac Bay, Uot Mi, Ca Dao Me,....  Khanh Ly sings all tracks in Japanese as well as in Vietnamese. 

Released by Nippon Columbia, catalog no. AF-7071.

 

The LP includes gatefold picture sleeve with “obi”, with relic sheet (both in Japanese and Vietnamese) for all 10 songs (with exception of Ca Dao Me only in Japanese), and the disc.

 

Condition (Disc/Sleeve):  M-/EX+ (No visible defects on disc. Some wears at upper part of “spine”, otherwise no defects. )
