Description

Villancicos. Chansons populaires espagnoles des 15e et 16e siecles (15th & 16th century Spanish populair songs). Atrium Musicae de Madrid directed by Gregorio Paniagua. Superb performance !! On HP's TAS list. Great audiophile LP !!

This LP is very special. It is one of the very best made by Harmonia Mundi, which also means it is one of the very best period. The record consists of Portuguese popular music from the 15th and 16th Centuries, with some "help" from Gregorio Paniagua, the group's leader. The sound of the record is truly exceptional in every category; low-level detail, dynamics, transparency, immediacy, naturalness etc. ESSENTIAL for any AUDIOPHILE fan !!!
