Absolutely stunning copy of the rare original 1962 blue vinyl pressing of Vince Guaraldi's Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus, on Fantasy stereo 8089. Before he did the Charlie Brown music he was leading this wonderful jazz trio, and this is probably the masterpiece of that combo. Very interesting take on the Bossa Nova craze of the time, with a couple of Guaraldi's originals thrown in, including Cast Your Fate to the Wind, which became a big hit, and the name of which later became the new name of this same album. This is the original. It was also released on black vinyl and the usual Fantasy red vinyl, but the blue is by far the rarest. This copy is truly a beautiful one. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. Lots of quiet moments in the music that play without the slightest tick or crackle. The laminated cover is also nearly pristine, simply gorgeous. The original Fantasy inner sleeve is also included. This is truly a top, top original copy, very hard indeed to beat.
