This is an ORIGINAL 1978 Album (Not CD) of Ruth Manning-Sanders THE GOBLINS AT THE BATH HOUSE and Joseph Payne Brennan CALAMANDER CHEST (TC-1574), read by VINCENT PRICE. Released on CAEDMON Records. This album is still sealed in its ORIGINAL factory shrink wrap.

Ruth Manning-Sanders was a prolific writer of fairy tales from all over the world. All told, she published more than 90 books during her lifetime.

In “The Calamander Chest,” a man comes across a chest constructed of a rare and beautiful wood in a second-hand shop.  The problem?  It’s remarkably inexpensive, and the shopkeeper couldn’t be more excited to get rid of it.  But do you think that will stop a man from taking advantage of the deal of the year?  Not a chance.  What our main character soon discovers, however, is that the chest holds some very dark secrets indeed, and perhaps more than just secrets.

In celebration of the talents of the late Vincent Price who passed away on October 25, 1993.

Since this is a sealed album we cannot visually rate the vinyl but assume it to be in MINT condition.

The Cover is in NEAR MINT condition with very, very light ring wear. It is in its ORIGINAL sealed factory shrink wrap which has a small tear at the lower right corner a piece missing on the back and a white sticker in the front upper right corner. (See photos)

Payment is expected within seven (7) days of auction closing unless other arrangements have been made. If payment is not received by closing of the next week’s auction the order will be canceled.

Shipping/Handling within the United States is $4.00 via USPS Media Mail. We will combine shipping on multiple orders at $1.00 for each additional album. We use regular record shipping boxes with extra cardboard and the vinyl will be outside of the cover (when possible) in a protective sleeve.

We are happy to ship Inter-nationally via USPS First Class International for $25.00. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Russia, Italy or Ukraine due to problems we have had with the Post Office in those countries.
