“PET SOUNDS” The Beach Boys Capitol T 2458  MONO 1966.   Beginning their career as the most popular surf band in the nation, the Beach Boys finally emerged by 1966 as America's preeminent pop group, The best Beach Boys album, and one of the best of the 1960s exemplified by their 1966 peak with the Pet Sounds LP and the number one single "Good Vibrations.

  The group here reached a whole new level in terms of both composition and production, layering tracks upon tracks of vocals and instruments to create a richly symphonic sound. . It wouldn't have been a classic without great songs, and this has some of the group's most stunning melodies,

     Massively influential upon its release (although it was a relatively low seller compared to their previous LPs), it immediately vaunted the band into the top level of rock innovators among the intelligentsia, especially in Britain, where it was a much bigger hit. Ranked at number 2 album of all time by ROLLING STONE magazine

Cover VG++ lightest of ringwear ,small dark dot on upper edge, orginal sleeve     Vinyl VG++  plays clean

All albums have been visually and play graded

Mint (M) : Album is New Sealed and Unplayed

Mint, -  Though not mint still quite nice vinyl visually clean. No visible signs of wear or damage that would affect sound.

VG++: Cover could have very small seam spliting , very light ringwear, very light cover wear, vinyl there may be light visual marks. There could be light surface sound.

VG+: More wear on covers, small sticker tears can be present and more wear on vinyl though the record can be played without skipping or repeating.

       G & Below: will be a record of low sounding quality and a cover in very poor shape.

These pictures show the sleeve from the Capitol '66 Sounds  (1.) shows the Roy Clark corner with the PE-12-3BL  and (2.) showing the very slight creasing on the lower corner and if you look close you will a line of white at the bottom where the record has broken through [2" long tear] .  Thanks for the interest and Good Luck.
