*ESTATE FIND*
For sale is a Vintage Sun 217 45 found at a local estate recently. Due to the condition, I'm pretty sure this is an original and not a reproduction. It was found in a small stack of other old 45's. Half of them were sun records from other artists and some were broken and in poor condition.
This one was the best of all of them and is Elvis Presley's "Baby Let's Play House" and "I'm Left, You're Right. She's Gone". The record label does have noticable wear and the vinyl does have scuffs and has a red sticker on side 2. There is No warpage or cracks. There are 3 pushmarks on the label and has some factory lettering etched on the vinyl near the label, which is difficult to read, but looks to be a U-143x-45-2, then 72 on side 1. Side 2 has U-142-45 and 72.
I did play it and thought it sounded pretty good with just some static-like crackling, but there were no skips or bad noises.
I am not a record person, so I hate to try to grade it, but I would give it a "Good"or around a C-4 rating.
