INCREDIBLE   ORIGINAL RARE 7 " VERSION OF USA  45     1967 PSYCH GARAGE UK POP DERAM 45 -DEM-7514

45 VINYL  NM / MINT LABEL HAS NUMBER 10  ON THE ONE SIDE

45s: 1 Love/Halliford House (Deram DM 146) 1967 2 Secret/Comes A Time (Deram DM 173) 1968  

This psychedelic outfit came from the Richmond area of London and were originally known as The Themselves. Love was a Troggs-influenced 45 based on a Buddhist chant called "Om Mane Padme Hum" with a sitar plucking in the background. The flip side, Halliford House, is a delightfully sleepy arrangement (typically British psych-pop) with a period piece fade out ending.

Their second 'A' side, Secret, was more commercial with a string arrangement and mellotron. The band were definitely grade one psych-pop
