Low ball, ridiculous offers will be automatically declined.) Check back often for new listings on vinyl, CDs, vintage rock magazines, and other cool collectibles! Now on to details of this listing...

The Vogue Records company existed for only a couple of years in the mid 1940s. They were know as 'Vogue-The Picture Record' label, and released dozens of titles during their short time in business. They released several artists, and some are (in demand) collector's items, and others are more common. But they ARE very cool, and they make great conversation pieces!

The process was a lot different back then than the way they make picture discs now! Back in the day, the speed was 78 rpm. The core of the record was made of aluminum, and coats of clear vinyl was used on top of the colorful artwork. The music's grooves were then stamped on top of the clear vinyl. These are 10" records, slightly smaller than a standard 12" album.

The two artists featured today on these vintage Vogue picture discs are Lulu Belle & Scotty, and Shep Fields and his Orchestra. Each side of the discs is a single song. There are many scratches and surface marks on them, but overall, they are both in pretty good condition for music that's over SEVENTY FIVE years old!

A great pair of vintage collectible early picture discs, for that vinyl collector in your life, or for younger collectors who are discovering old pieces like these. Or start a vintage vinyl collection yourself, as this is a great place to start! Vogue picture records were among the very first picture discs made!
