VOS VOISINS - HOLOCAUSTE A MONTREAL
Here's another very very rare LP from the fertile early 70's Montreal underground scene. Vos Voisins (translation: Your Neighbours) were formed by members of Louise Forestier backing band: “Enzymes”. The cover, reproducing the front page of a locally popular crime newspaper “Allo Police” was quickly withdrawn from the market and reissued with a lamer cover. Believe this album is rare.
Not only it’s rare as hell but it’s great too! They are showing influences from the early heavy organ prog format. But beware! Vos Voisins offers an original and habile sound far from the clichés of the deep-purple canon. You can get a review of the band here: http://www.progquebec.com/vosvoisins.html
